“The organization I am a member of invited James to teach a workshop on mindfulness, meditation and wellness, and the benefits they provide when working through mental, emotional and physical health challenges as college students. Prior to the workshop, each planning meeting James and I had was very relaxed and helped me learn more about mindfulness and how it can personally support me with struggles I face.
The workshop included a discussion on the stress students deal with and the habits we can implement to overcome those negative thoughts we have, along with two, short, guided meditations. Throughout the workshop and meditations, I felt we were able to not only learn more about ourselves by being vulnerable but were also able to relax and fully clear our minds. Overall, it was a great experience working with James and he helped us learn that no matter what struggles we’re facing, there are so many healthy and mindful ways to work through them.”
